Ph.D. student Moritz Koza just published his first scientific paper. The article’s title is: „Consequences of chemical pretreatments in particle size analysis for modeling wind erosion“ and it was accepted in “Geoderma”, one of the leading journals in soil science.

The Geoecology-workgroup from the Martin-Luther-University installed together with their local partner “TAYNSHA ASTYK“ successfully the new weather station in Yasnaja Poljana, close to Kokschetau on the 10^th of August 2018. The station delivers the latest meteorological data from the north end of the study area for researchers and local farmers as well.

The weather station in Yasnaja Poljana installed in 2018 successfully completed its first year of measurements in August. Besides maintenance checks on the 22th of August 2019, development of an easy method for data access and analysis was started together with our partner "Taynsha Astyk" .
