Monitoring network
Installation of the lysimeter station
- Two soil monoliths were monolithically extracted
- Extraction from an arable land and a fallow site which was covered by pristine steppe vegetation
- The vessels were positioned into the lysimeter station
- Implementation and materials provided by Umwelt-Geräte-Technik GmbH
Measurements by lysimeter station
- Lysimeter mass by load cells
- Soil moisture and soil temperature by SMT - 100
- Matrix potential by Tensiomark sensors
- Sampling soil solution by suction cups
- Seepage water and surface runoff by tipping buckets
- Measurements of soil parameters and sampling soil solution at depths of 30, 50, and 120 cm
Meteorological network
- 3 tipping buckets at ground level
- 1 tipping bucket at a height of 1 m
- 1 compact weather station
