Sub-project 1 pursues three main objectives:

• • • development of tillage procedures for erosion protection and optimization of the carbon-reducing nature of the soils as well as water supply for the cultivated crops
    • development of ecologically and economically optimized crop protection by sensor-controlled crop protection sprayers to save on herbicides
    • optimization of nutrient supply for the cultures.

Moreover, this sub-project supports sub-project 6, "Optimization of the steppe restoration", by developing technical procedures for the recultivation of fallow land and restoration measures.
