To engineer machinery for ultra-shallow tillage, tool carriers are developed initially and different versions are tested. Subsequently, prototypes are built and introduced in Germany and Kazakhstan. The insight obtained in this process then flows into the further development of the machines.
The AmaSpot system, which was developed for selective weed control with herbicides over the course of the Kulunda project sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, continues to be used and improved in Kazakhstan. Savings potential under various conditions is documented and evaluated as a part of this process.
To optimize nutrient supply for the cultures, a system for liquid fertilizer application during row sowing is in development. It is being tested and adapted in Kazakhstan. This provides an opportunity to compensate for the supply shortages discovered by the "Evaluation of nutrient supply and optimization of the nutrient utilization efficiency” in a targeted manner.
