  • Evaluation of available nutrients (basic cations, phosphorus, nitrogen, micro nutrients) in the soil of the study area depending on land-use and  soil management
  • Analysis of nitrogen availability as a function of soil management by
    • Identification of the origin of the acquired nitrogen  (fertilizer nitrogen vs. nitrogen from the mineralization of organic matter)
    • Evaluation of the depth from which nitrogen is taken up by the plant
    • Quantification of nitrogen uptake efficiency
  • Comparative evaluation of the efficiency of conventional granular fertilizer and liquid fertilizer
  • Identification of the depth of soil of the water taken up by the plants
  • Implementation of the results with regard to optimized, sustainable soil management
