Installation of the new weather station 2018
The Geoecology-workgroup from the Martin-Luther-University installed together with their local partner “TAYNSHA ASTYK“ successfully the new weather station in Yasnaja Poljana, close to Kokschetau on the 10th of August 2018. The station delivers the latest meteorological data from the north end of the study area for researchers and local farmers as well. It measures precipitation, air temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, global radiation, wind direction, and wind speed and in addition important farming related parameters such as soil temperature, soil moisture, pF and electrical conductivity in three different depths. All contributors received and technical introduction and the meteorological station was officially assigned to a representative of the Baraev-Institute.
