Ph.D. student Moritz Koza just published his first scientific paper. The article’s title is: „Consequences of chemical pretreatments in particle size analysis for modeling wind erosion“ and it was accepted in “Geoderma”, one of the leading journals in soil science. The research answers the question, among others, which is the main binding agent in dry steppe soils and how to disperse samples successfully to analyze particle size distribution. The latter is one of the most important parameters for modeling wind erosion.
