After a lot of difficulties, the Mobile Wind Tunnel which was developed by the Umwelt-Geräte-Technik and the Research Unit Geoecology of the Martin-Luther-University, it finally reached its destination Kazhakstan. With the help of our local partners "Amazone Kazhakstan" and the "Baraev Institut", it was possible to have our first field experiment on the Baraev test sites.

On September 18.-19., 2017, all members of the project ReKKs team, officials and scientists from Kazakhstan and Russia met in Astana to discuss the forthcoming project activities and ensure the future fruitful collaboration.

During the field campaign in Mai 2018 we met Dr. A. Töws, director of the German Agricultural Centre in Chaglinka (Akmola). We had a tour through the centre and interesting talks about our project and the tasks and works of the DAZ.
