The second sampling campaign for completion of our north-south gradient took place from the 01.05.-28.05.2018. The subprojects SP 4 and SP 5 started in the south at our project partners in Lasovoe, Zhaltir, Shortandy and ended their work in the north in Yasnaya Polyana. During this trip 30 fields (986 samples) of different use, use history and fertilizer regime, meadows, salesch and virgin land (see also Method section of the different sub-projects) were sampled. In situ mineralized nitrogen and the pH was measured. Further basic and target parameters will be measured after the importation of soil samples. This campaign in combination with our campaign of 2017 in Kokschetau (9 sites, 297 samples) completes the targeted north-south gradient of the subprojects SP 4 and SP 5.
